Abstract or absurd?

You have not seen an abstract from me for a while. Funny thing happened several years ago when strolling through an art show with my mother-in-law. She pointed to a booth and said, "those are absurds." I said, "you mean abstracts?" She said, "well, yes, absurd, abstract, whatever."

Here is Abstraction, original 21" x 29", watercolor with a bit of collage, available in my Etsy shop.

Companion Art

A client is going to purchase these 2 prints from my Etsy shop to hang together in her dining room. Her table is decorated with Fiesta Ware. She asked how I thought they would look together, and I think they would be great! Both have the same theme, and shades of red and yellow. However, one is vertical and one is horizontal. I think the placing the vertical on the left with the horizontal on the right, with their middles on the same line, would be perfect. What do you think? (I cannot get them spaced apart, but you get the idea.)

Lake of the Ozarks Watercolor Painting

Hello all,
Here is a new piece in my Ports of Call Series of great waterside restaurants at Lake of the Ozarks. This makes 12 in the series. Prints are available at Lake Galleon and ArtPho Gallery at the lake. They are selling so well that I am spending my days in town, Tues, Wed, Thurs., printing and packaging prints instead of painting new spots. But I did make time for this very popular venue, Franky & Louie's. On the drawing board; Ozark Bar-B-Que. Pit Stop, The Duck, DockKnockers, Fish & Co. , The Barge. Stay tuned.....

New watercolor paintings

Hello again,
Forgive my absence. We lost our dog and got a new puppy and took a trip and have been everywhere but at home acting normal. Finally back in the groove and painted a couple of loose happy florals.

Here is Tall Black Iris, 11" x 14", original watercolor painting

Here is Tulip Bouquet, 11" x 14", original watercolor painting
