White Peony
White flowers are a real challenge! I tried to exagerate the warm and cool areas of the very complex flower. This painting is currently on display, and for sale, at the Saint Louis Watercolor Society exhibit, "Squares". (My painting is a square shape) The show is at CJ Muggs restaurant in Webster Groves through April 20. Stop in to see the great exhibit and enjoy some fine dining. Unlike most of our other exhibiting venues, sold paintings can be removed from this venue during the show and replaced with another peice from the artist.

You've done an excellent job on this and the contrast in colors is simply lovely.
very pretty!! I'll have to try my hand at watercolors... I love them so much!
